Christmas 2016

The School Choir in the Community

A huge well done to our wonderful School Choir, who completed their ‘Christmas Singathon’ on Thursday 8th December.

They sang at Golborne House, Golborne Library, Lowton Toby Carvery and Golborne Adsa.

They did an amazing job and spread lots of Christmas cheer around the community.

Y2/1 Christmas Cards

In Y2/1 we sent some Christmas cards to a soldier who is currently deployed over Christmas to thank all the soldiers for their service and keeping us safe. He is able to pass the cards out to all the soldiers serving over there. This is linked to our value of ‘Respect’  as we greatly appreciate all the work that the soldiers are doing. Here is a picture of the cards being received and the children receiving their response.

Christmas Carol Concerts

A huge well done to our Reception and Nursery children who performed their Nativity this week. They all sang beautifully and performed so well. They have all worked so hard to practice all the songs and remember their parts.

On Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st of December, KS1 and KS2 performed their Christmas Carol Concerts. All the classes worked extremely hard to rehearse their own Christmas songs and the hard work paid off. The children were fantastic and really got everybody in the Christmas spirit! A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who attended, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Christmas Disco with Layton

On Friday 23rd December we all enjoyed our Christmas Disco with a very special guest. Layton Robinson-Bancroft dropped in to join in the celebrations with his friends, who presented him with his Christmas present of a Manchester United shirt. Everyone had a fantastic time.
