PE Prefects/Sports Ambassadors
The Sports Ambassador programme is designed to build the leadership skills of young people in school and as a result they are then empowered to encourage their peers to become more engaged in sport. This programme identifies and celebrates outstanding sports leaders who have stepped up to become ambassadors for PE and school sport.
The expectation for every Sport Ambassador is to:
Be the pupil voice for PE and school sport at Golborne Community Primary School
Promote the positive values and ethos of sport
Be a role model and champion for PE and school sport
Increase participation opportunities and healthy lifestyles for everyone
Year 3 – Joshua Pennington and Alyssa Symons

The PE Prefects liaise with the PE and School Sport Co-ordinator and help when required. They play a vital role in organising intra-school events such as Sports Day. The PE Prefects ensure the PE store cupboard is tidy at all times and the upkeep of all sporting equipment is to a high standard.
